Job Description

Role Purpose

The Sales & Customer will be responsible for managing customer relationships, handling sales enquiries, preparing quotations, and supporting business growth, especially for overseas customers.

This role acts as a key link between customers and internal teams (engineering, production, QA).

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Handle sales enquiries, RFQs, and quotations for precision engineering components
  • Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed orders
  • Identify and develop new customers, including overseas accounts
  • Support management in expanding into new markets and industries
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and reporting

Customer & Account Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers
  • Communicate clearly with customers on specifications, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules
  • Build long-term customer relationships and ensure repeat business
  • Handle customer feedback, issues, and coordination for resolution

Internal Coordination

  • Liaise with engineering, production, QA, and logistics teams to ensure accurate quotation and smooth order fulfilment
  • Ensure customer requirements (drawings, tolerances, materials) are properly understood internally
  • Support order processing, documentation and delivery coordination

Overseas Market Support

  • Communicate with overseas customers across different time zones
  • Support export-related documentation and coordination
  • Assist in overseas customer visits, video meetings, or trade exhibitions when required

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management (engineering / manufacturing industry preferred)
  • Ability to understand basic engineering drawings and technical specifications (training will be provided)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with customers, quotations, and deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Excel, email, and basic CRM or ERP systems
  • Experience handling overseas customers is an advantage

Salary & Benefits (Singapore)

  • Monthly salary: S$3,500 - S$4,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Performance bonus / commission based on sales results
