Job Responsibilities:
. Liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to
maintain a high level of safety at the sites.
. Oversee and lead the Safety team & subcontractors in the implementation of Company's safety
systems at sites.
. Monitor safety and health aspect of all projects and workers safe work practices.
. Conduct daily site inspection on work activities to ensure implementation of safe work procedures.
. Investigates accidents / incidents / dangerous occurrences and recommend remedial measures to
prevent any recurrences.
. Carry out risk assessment for all projects and maintain high level of safety and housekeeping at
site.
. Carry out safety orientations and to conduct daily tool box meeting.
. Plan, Administer and implement safety policy and safety procedures in compliance with local safety
regulations.
. Familiarize with 3rd party Audit requirements and make preparation for the Audit.
. Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health Act and all its subsidiary and
statutory legal legislations.
. Identify any unsafe condition or unsafe work practice and recommend / implement reasonably
practicable measures to correct the situation.
. Any other duties and responsibility as assigned.
Job Requirements:
. At least a Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Construction and Advanced Certificate in WSH
(Level B).
. Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Engineering and Construction industry.
. Familiar with construction site safety inspections and regulations.
. A good team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his work.
. Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive and results oriented.
. Excellent team spirit, strong technical competence and good interpersonal skills.
