Job Description:
Saimass Pte. Ltd. is looking for a responsible and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee daily site operations and ensure that construction works are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements. The candidate will coordinate workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, monitor work progress, maintain site safety compliance, and report directly to management on project status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities
- Monitor site progress to ensure works are completed on schedule
- Manage and supervise workers, subcontractors, and suppliers on site
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements
- Conduct site inspections and identify any quality or safety issues
- Prepare daily site reports, manpower records, and work progress updates
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams on site matters
- Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment
- Enforce workplace safety regulations and maintain good housekeeping on site
- Resolve site problems and support smooth project execution
Job Requirements:
- Diploma, Higher Nitec, or equivalent qualification in Construction, Building, Civil Engineering, or related field
- At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision
- Able to read construction drawings and coordinate site work accordingly
- Knowledge of site safety requirements and work procedures
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Able to work independently and handle site coordination effectively
- Familiar with renovation, upgrading, or building works will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic reporting
- Possess a positive attitude, responsibility, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in residential, commercial, or government projects
- Knowledge of quality control and site safety practices
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors
