Job Summary
Support project management by overseeing site operations, ensuring safety and quality compliance, coordinating with clients, and resolving issues to complete construction projects on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist the project manager in coordinating and executing all site activities to ensure smooth project operations
- Monitor project progress and enforce environment and safety standards on site to maintain compliance with WSHA regulations
- Identify and resolve site problems promptly to keep projects on track within contractual deadlines
- Coordinate with clients by attending regular meetings to communicate project status and address concerns
- Prepare and review comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks for the project
- Assist in testing and commissioning civil, structural, and architectural equipment to verify functionality and compliance
- Ensure all work complies with the Project Quality Plan to meet established standards and client expectations
- Maintain accountability of employees and subcontractors by monitoring performance and adherence to safety protocols
- Participate actively in resolving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) issues to promote a safe work environment
- Communicate and report HSE issues and incidents promptly to relevant stakeholders for timely action
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Building Construction Management or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings with detailed understanding
- Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience
