- Develop and monitor the Company's workplace safety and health programmes and policies.
- Liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental matters at interior fit-out and renovation sites.
- Oversee subcontractors and site personnel in the implementation of the Company's safety systems and procedures.
- Monitor safety and health aspects of all interior fit-out and renovation projects and ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Conduct risk assessments for interior fit-out and renovation activities and ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards are maintained at site.
- Conduct safety orientations and toolbox meetings for site personnel and workers.
- Plan, administer and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with applicable Singapore WSH requirements.
- Familiarise with third-party audit requirements and assist in preparing for relevant audits.
- Perform duties in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and other applicable WSH legislation and regulations.
- Implement and maintain proper WSHE management, administrative and record-keeping systems.
- Conduct WSHE inspections and prepare relevant reports and follow-up actions.
- Organise and conduct WSHE briefings and training for employees and site personnel.
- Investigate incidents and accidents and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
- Ensure risk control measures are properly implemented for work activities.
Requirements
- Minimum Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or other WSH-related qualification recognised by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction, interior fit-out or renovation industry.
- Good communication, presentation and Microsoft Office skills.
- Good knowledge of fire safety, life safety equipment and relevant emergency procedures.
- Good understanding of WSH/HSE legislation, regulations and other applicable requirements.
- Able to organise and conduct WSH/HSE-related training and safety briefings.
- Good time management, leadership and organisational skills.
