Conduct risk assessment to identify and enforce preventive measures.
Ensure that company's health and safety requirements comply with rules and regulations from various authorities.
Establish, review and keep procedures and policies up-to-date, meeting the latest standards.
Continuous improvement on the EHS management system through effective implementation of ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2025, ISO 45001:2018 management standards.
Conducting/ assisting in external or internal workplace EHS inspections and audits, follow up on the effective implementation and closure of associated corrective/ remedial action as well as bizSAFE certification.
Assist in the application of various permits required prior to work commencement.
Monitor the EHS performance of the project, identify unsafe conditions and procedures and recommend corrective actions.
Provide training and advice on various safety-related topics to employees which includes conducting SIC at various project sites.
Responsible for full implementation of all the provisions in the Project EHS management system and maintenance of all EHS record keeping.
Compile weekly and monthly EHS reports and submit them to lead safety on a regular basis.
Conduct Safety promotional activities for the project sites.
Liaise with the relevant Authorities with regards to any EHS matters.
Lead and project investigations following the occurrence of workplace accidents.
Investigations and drafting of reports in the event that an accident occurs.
Conducti fire drill exercise for individual project sites.
Carry out for project wise design and implement emergency preparedness and contingency plans.
Enforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations.
Any other ad-hoc duties required.
Requirements:
Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and minimum 2 years relevant experience.
Extensive knowledge and experience with safety legislations, regulations, standards and procedures.
Good interpersonal communication, strong leadership and analytical skills.
Self-driven, result-oriented and good initiative.
Well versed with Microsoft Office.
Attained Confined Space Safety Assessor, Risk Management for RA Leader, Managing Work at Height, Occupational First Aid and other relevant certificates will be an added advantage.
