Reporting to the Vice President, your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
You will be responsible for contracts Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) matters such as introducing, developing, and reinforcing the implementation of WSH plan, programmes (documentation, Permit-To-Work (PTW), meetings, ad-hoc inspections, trainings, WSH promotions and awareness) to continually improve WSH performance across all facilities which require WSHO.
Ensure the safety of personnel through compliance with WSH Act and other legislations, and/or contract's WSH requirements.
Organize and conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions for workers and subcontractors.
Work closely and provide guidance for facilities and/or project managers on all WSH issues and/or resolve any non-compliances and queries.
Organise and/or participate in WSH education program such as training, talks, and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the persons employed on the site to establish a safe and healthy working environment.
Able to conduct independently and professionally joint and/or individual periodic WSH site inspections to ensure that all site activities are carried out in compliance with MOM, NEA and/or other related regulations for all workplaces.
Stay abreast of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of this position.
Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
