Job Summary
You will maintain and support underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and related systems, assist in R&D activities, and perform system operations to ensure reliable underwater service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on underwater systems to ensure operational reliability
- Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and construct hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components for underwater ROVs and ancillary systems
- Support research and development activities by fabricating, building, and upgrading new and existing ROVs
- Record and manage data accurately during operational jobs to support analysis and reporting
- Conduct system launch and recovery operations safely and efficiently
- Assist with ROV operations following approved procedures and policies to maintain safety and performance standards
- Execute hands-on maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems of ROVs and related equipment
- Work outdoors or on-board ships, maintaining physical fitness to meet job demands and adapt to irregular shift hours as required by operational schedules
