Our Company is working closely with a Prestigious Public Listed organisation in Singapore. Due to our dynamic expansion in projects, we are looking for Assistant Production Engineers to be part of a production team who are responsible for managing resources (mainly contractors), optimizing activities at the contractor workshop, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality productions related to projects. This role requires initiative, leadership skills, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail to drive continuous improvement and meet project delivery milestones.
Responsibilities
1.Project Delivery and Execution:
- Work with the production schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines and delivery objectives.
- Coordinate and work with project managers to understand project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
2.Quality Assurance (QA)
- Work with a QA mindset to enforce quality standards and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality production outcome.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to improve product quality and reliability.
3.Health and Safety Compliance
- To work as a team to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe working environment at vendor site and in-house workshop.
4.Communications and Collaboration
- Be able to foster open communication and collaboration within the production team and with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and logistics.
5.Technical Abilities
- Integration, assembly and fabrication works on mechanical and electrical components.
- Support and perform First Article Inspections (FAI), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) on assembled products/systems.
- Conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) on assembled products and assemblies.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering.
- Track record of at least 1 year in assembly, production and testing environment of unmanned and related sub-assemblies and systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
