RESTAURANT MANAGER (WESTERN)

Job Description

  • Supervision staff: Managing and training staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to ensure efficient service and adherence to standards.
  • Customer Service: Handling customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Inventory management: Maintaining accurate inventory records, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
  • Financial planning: Manage with budgeting, cost control, and tracking sales and expenses.
  • Scheduling:Creating and managing staff schedules, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Management Responsibilities:
  • Hiring and training: Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff members, and providing training on restaurant policies and procedures.
  • Staff performance: Monitoring staff performance, providing coaching and feedback, and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Health and safety: Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and other relevant laws.

Additional Duties:

  • Communication: Acting as a liaison between management and staff, and between staff and customers.
  • Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during service, such as equipment malfunctions or customer complaints.
  • Supporting marketing efforts: Assisting with promotional activities and special events.
  • Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as Business, Culinary and F&B Management
  • Min 2-3-year experiences in F&B industry
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient in inventory management and cost control
  • Passion for the F&B industry and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Flexible and able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays and events as required
  • Location at Shenton Way
  • 6 days work week
  • Staff meal provided
  • Salary S$3000 - S$4200, depending on the experiences
