Job Summary

Lead and supervise restaurant service operations to ensure smooth outlet performance, exceptional guest satisfaction, and team development in a dynamic F&B environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing efficient and smooth service operations within the restaurant outlet
  • Maintain and enforce service and cleanliness standards consistently throughout the outlet
  • Deliver prompt and excellent customer service to satisfy all guests
  • Take guest orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of items
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the restaurant menu to inform and upsell to guests
  • Actively promote menu items to increase sales
  • Report operational issues or challenges promptly to the Service/Operations Manager
  • Follow up with Service/Operations Manager to ensure resolution of reported issues
  • Prepare mise-en-place according to operational requirements and standards
  • Ensure tables are cleaned and reset promptly after each course to maintain service flow
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance personal knowledge and skills
  • Assist in monthly inventory checks of operating equipment and supplies
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees to foster teamwork and operational efficiency
  • Adapt to changing work environments and maintain a positive, motivated attitude
  • Uphold high standards of personal grooming, presentation, integrity, and discretion
  • Work collaboratively as a team player and contribute to team-building efforts
  • Be available to work on weekends and public holidays as required

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Captain or Supervisor in Food & Beverage
  • Immediate availability to work weekends and public holidays

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Tourism Management
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Proactive problem-solving ability
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive can-do attitude and passion for multi-skilling and training
