Regional Technical Service Engineer

Your role:

- You will be responsible for support our regional partners and customers in South Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia in case of machine breakdowns and advise to local field staff - both on-site and digitally.

- Site planning and lead engineer on installations and field upgrades of high-end digital industrial printers and occasionally also in basic training.

- Frequent travel to customers at sites in the region - some lasting up to 2 weeks.

- Planning and execution of periodical preventative programs.

- Support and organize spare parts support to regional partners as and when needed.

Your profile:

- You are at least 5 years of experience as a service technician / engineer.

- Experienced from server instrial customers - preferably involved high-end digital printing equipment using either Electrophotostatic or Ink Jet technology but any electrical / electronic background for industrial equipment may apply.

- Diploma holder or graduate engineer within electronics or electro-mechanics.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally in English plus at least one local language. Mandarin language skill is an advantage but not a requirement

- Passionate and with a desire to make a difference and positively influence customer satisfaction.

- Ability to work independently in a small team, self-driven and self-supportive.

- Able to travel frequently and with home base in either Malaysia, Singapore or Thailand.
