Job Description

Our client is seeking a Regional Supply Chain Manager Manager to lead strategic supplier engagement and oversee a regional purchasing team in Singapore. This role is pivotal in optimizing supplier relationships, supporting sales initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence in sourcing integrated circuits (ICs) and other electronic components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key manufacturers and franchise distributors.
  • Negotiate and collaborate to enhance supplier performance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Track and report on parts availability, pricing trends, and industry developments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned products and manufacturers, providing insights to the Sales and Sourcing teams.
  • Analyze parts availability and pricing against historical customer demand and BOMs to identify sales opportunities.
  • Advise Sales and Buyers on pricing strategies to drive consistent growth with key suppliers.
  • Prepare regular market reports for assigned products and manufacturers.
  • Lead and manage regional Buyers, ensuring effective requisition execution and high hit rate.
  • Provide guidance, resolve escalations, manage workloads, and ensure compliance with SOPs and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the electronic components industry.
  • Proven expertise and established relationships with suppliers and franchise distributors.
  • In-depth knowledge of ICs and semiconductors, including TI, ADI, On Semi, ST Microelectronics, Broadcom, and other board-level components.
