Procure appropriate goods and services from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery with the correct quality and quantity to meet company requirements.
Provide training and guidance to the Purchasing team in key areas such as negotiation strategies, project tracking, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork to enhance overall performance and efficiency.
Manage and evaluate both existing and new vendors through regular audits, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance and R&D teams, to ensure compliance with company standards and continuous improvement.
Conduct research to identify potential new suppliers for the companys product portfolio, focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
Establish a structured framework for tracking and analyzing product costs and overall company purchases and identify opportunities for cost reduction and improve financial efficiency across departments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential new suppliers to support effective negotiations and secure the best pricing for the company.
Lead process improvements and develop strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
Oversee all supply chain activities, including demand planning, supply and manufacturing planning, and inventory management.
Ensure smooth operations by managing forecasting accuracy, inventory availability, and logistics for timely product delivery.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum 58 years of relevant experience in purchasing and supply chain management
Strong background in cost analysis and budgeting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong negotiation capabilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
