Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth in maritime satellite and connectivity solutions.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with shipowners, ship managers, offshore operators, and fleet technical teams.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle - prospecting, solution pitching, negotiation, contract closure, and post-sales follow-up.
  • Promote satellite connectivity solutions including VSAT, LEO services, hybrid connectivity, IoT, crew welfare, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers (Technical Managers, Fleet Managers, IT Managers, Procurement Heads, and C-level executives).
  • Prepare commercial proposals, pricing models, and tender submissions aligned with company profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and regulatory developments affecting maritime connectivity.
  • Represent the company at maritime exhibitions, conferences, and networking events within the region.
  • Achieve agreed KPIs including revenue targets, pipeline growth, account penetration, and customer retention metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of B2B sales experience in maritime satellite communications, VSAT, maritime IT, or related marine technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of satellite connectivity (LEO/MEO/GEO), vessel networks, and maritime digitalisation trends.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding regional sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with ability to travel within the assigned region.
