Our Client
Our client is a well-established food ingredients and seasoning manufacturer headquartered in Germany, with a strong and expanding presence across Asia. They are seeking a commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to accelerate growth across Asia (excluding China) within the Meat Processing and QSR segments.
Your Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a high-visibility, regional role responsible for managing key accounts and expanding market presence within the savoury, meat processing and industrial food manufacturing segments.
You will play a strategic role in shaping regional commercial direction while driving profitable revenue growth through solution-based selling and strong distributor management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve sustainable, profitable growth
- Manage and grow key industrial accounts across multiple Asian markets
- Drive new business development through value-added and solution-based selling
- Strengthen distributor performance and expand customer base
- Lead pricing discussions and margin optimisation to ensure commercial viability
- Identify market trends, customer needs and competitive positioning opportunities
- Collaborate closely with application, technical and customer service teams to support product trials and customised solutions
- Provide structured sales forecasts, pipeline updates and commercial reporting to senior management
This role requires regular travel (approximately 50-60%) within Asia (except China).
Your Profile
- 5-8+ years of B2B sales experience within food ingredients, functional blends, seasoning systems or related savoury solutions
- Proven experience in solution selling to industrial food manufacturers
- Strong exposure to Meat Processing, savoury and/or QSR segments in Asia
- Experience managing key accounts and regional distributors
- Track record in achieving sales targets and driving new business growth
- Strong commercial acumen in pricing, margin management and negotiation
- Prior regional travel experience for business within Asia
- Comfortable operating in a regional, matrix environment and reporting to senior leadership
- A background in Food Science or Culinary Arts would be advantageous
