Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven SalesDirector, APAC to lead regional sales strategy and execution for our FMCGinstant food and beverage portfolio. This role will be responsible for drivingrevenue growth, managing distributor networks, and expanding market shareacross key APAC markets including Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

1. Regional Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets across APAC
  • Identify growth opportunities, market entry strategies, and channel expansion plans
  • Drive P&L accountability for the region, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth

2. Distributor & Channel Management

  • Lead, manage, and optimize a robust distributor network across diverse APAC markets
  • Establish strong partnerships with key distributors, ensuring alignment on sales targets, brand positioning, and execution standards
  • Evaluate distributor performance and implement corrective actions where necessary
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing strategies, and trade agreements

3. Market Expansion & Business Development

  • Identify and onboard new distributors and partners in emerging markets
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches and market entries
  • Monitor competitive landscape, consumer trends, and pricing strategies

4. Key Account & Trade Management

  • Oversee key regional accounts and modern trade channels where applicable
  • Ensure strong in-market execution, visibility, and promotional effectiveness
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, activations, and product positioning

5. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with global and regional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure alignment and operational efficiency
  • Provide market insights to influence product development and portfolio strategy

6. Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing regional sales team (where applicable)
  • Set KPIs, track performance, and drive accountability across markets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 10-15 years of sales experience in FMCG, with a strong focus on food & beverage
  • Proven track record in distributor management across APAC markets
  • Strong experience in instant food categories (e.g., noodles, ready-to-eat, packaged meals) highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of markets including Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and Southeast Asia
  • Demonstrated success in scaling regional sales operations and achieving aggressive growth targets
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in multinational or regional roles with matrix reporting structures
