We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager (APAC) a seasoned commercial leader with proven experience in SaaS/software sales to the maritime or shipping industry. This role will be instrumental in accelerating revenue growth and driving market expansion across the APAC region, with a focus on acquiring new customers across both enterprise and mid-market segments, taking end-to-end ownership of the sales process while shaping and executing the region's sales strategy.
This is a fully remote position and reports directly to the Global Sales Director
Responsibilities:
- Own revenue growth for the designated vertical/geography.
- Identify, engage, and close opportunities to expand the customer base across the region.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the sales process and build strategic, long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Manage executive-level relationships to ensure recurring revenue growth and maximize product adoption, satisfaction, and retention.
- Provide sales forecasts and reports to inform leadership decisions.
- Collaborate with the product team to influence product enhancements based on customer feedback.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to drive strategic advantage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree with concentration in business administration, supply chain logistics, operations - preferred
- MUST: Minimum5+ years of experience in SaaS or software sales within the maritime industry.
- MUST: Experience selling to both SMB and enterprise maritime customers, managing long and short sales cycles.
- Experience and knowledge of the Shipping / International Trade industry Advantage.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving new business development.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of SaaS industry and subscription-based pricing.
- Experience in B2B sales processes, engaging enterprise Business, Operations, and Finance executives.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- High-energy individual with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
