Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and drive lead generation/business development
- Manage the full recruitment cycle - sourcing, job advertising, phone screening, coordinating interviews, reference checks, and offer negotiations
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with both clients and candidates
- Provide market insight and advice to hiring managers and candidates
- Attend industry events and actively network within the maritime community
- Negotiate terms of business with clients and deliver tailored recruitment solutions
- Maintain accurate records in our recruitment systems and prepare reports when needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of external recruitment experience (preferably in shipping/maritime, strong experience in other industries will also be considered)
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Familiar with recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiters
- Positive, proactive attitude with the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently to build and grow their own desk
