We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Quantity SurveyorManager to lead our cost management and contract administration functions for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying team in contract administration and procurement.
- Develop and manage project budgets, control cash flow, and prepare monthly cost reports for financial tracking and forecasting.
- Lead contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors and consultants to resolve commercial issues andensure contract compliance.
- Manage a team of QS on producing project claims, indemnity warranty, other contractual budget accounting, tracking and management reporting.
- Assist in the tendering process to ensure costing are accurately included.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts.
- Manage record-keeping for all contract-related correspondences and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction/Building Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
- At least 5-10 years relevant experience as QS / Contracts administration in similar capacity within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and have good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
- Familiar with AutoCAD and quantity take-off tools.
- Meticulous and analytical and possess excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Able to start at short notice or immediately.
