Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate project costings.
Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
Prepare and evaluate tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
Assist in procurement strategies and negotiation with contractors.
Manage contractual and financial aspects of construction projects.
Review and administer contracts, claims, and variations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor project budgets and track expenses throughout construction.
Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and valuation certificates.
Identify potential financial or commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients.
Attend site meetings and provide progress and cost reports.
Advise clients on cost implications of design changes.
Prepare and agree on final accounts with contractors and clients.
Ensure project completion within budget and time constraints.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Min 5-year of experience in Quantity Surveyor or relevant for landed house project.
Familiar with various high-end materials used for land house.
Able to communicate and liaise with Chinese-speaking associate.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision, good knowledge in local standards & requirements.
Familiar with AutoCAD & Revit.
