Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong Mechanical background to join our facade team. This role involves cost management and coordination with suppliers and subcontractors, particularly from China, hence making proficiency in Mandarin essential.

Responsibilities:

. Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and tender submissions for facade projects.

. Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

. Track and manage project budgets, variations and claims.

. Liaise with China-based suppliers and manufacturers to coordinate shipments, delivery schedules, and documentation.

. Communicate with internal teams, consultants, and site personnel to ensure smooth execution of works.

. Monitor contract compliance and assist in final account preparation.

. Preparation of Variation Order for submission.

. Liaise with subcontractors and clients.

. Ensure timely completion of an assign tender.

Requirements:

. Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) Required for regular communication with Chinese suppliers and logistics partners.

. Sound knowledge of Mechanical design and solution.

. Candidates must possess at least Diploma in Quantity Surveyor or Engineering or related discipline.

. Good Interpersonal communication skill.

. Proficient in QS tools and software (e.g. AutoCAD, MS Excel)

. Strong negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

. Resourceful, pro-active and responsible.

. Able to work under a tight timeline.

. Must be a team player.
