Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender costings, bills of quantities, and material/labour estimates from tender documents and drawings.
- Evaluate and negotiate tenders with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Work with the project team to meet client requirements efficiently.
- Control and monitor project budgets and expenditures.
- Perform monthly valuations of work in progress and forecast final costs.
- Vet sub-contractor tenders/contracts and certify monthly valuations.
- Manage all commercial project data, including cost forecasting for labour, materials, and sub-contractors, ensuring budget compliance.
- Provide required information to Managers and Directors for periodic reviews.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Min 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in the electrical construction, M/E services or any structured cabling industry or similar
- Proven track record in project cost management and tender preparation would be advantageous
