QC Lab Technician

Our client is a leading specialty chemicals manufacturer, providing high-performance resins, coatings, adhesives, and polymer solutions for industries such as automotive, construction, electronics, packaging, and industrial applications. The company focuses on innovation, quality, and sustainable production across the Asia Pacific region.

The role of the QC Lab Technician includes:

• Perform analysis and application studies on polyurethanes using lab equipment such as titrations, GC, FTIR, Karl-Fischer, AAS, and universal testing machine.
• Evaluate finished products and replicate customers application processes using technological equipment.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring accurate documentation of results, equipment, and consumables.
• Manage samples according to SOPs and maintain safety and housekeeping in the department.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirement:

• ITE/Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science & Technology, or equivalent 1-2 years experience in chemical/petrochemical industry preferred.
• Good laboratory knowledge, methodologies, and proficiency in MS Office on-the-job training provided.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to work in a team and under a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous, with attention to accuracy, and able to prioritize tasks based on urgency.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Jurong Island.
