QA/QC ENGINEER

Requirements:

• Must possess Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Additional certification in QA/QC is an added advantage
• At least 5 to 7 years ofQA/QCexperience is required related to Civil construction industry.
• Hands-on experience in precast works
• Familiarity with quality standards and testing methods for concrete products.
• Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform checks on the structural, architectural and M&E materials/works to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for inspections.
• Implement QA/QC plans and ensure PPVC quality before delivery
• Execute quality control as per site specific materials and Works Quality Plan.
• Arrange and liaise with BCA for assessments
• Prepare relevant QA/QC reports
• Attend regular site meetings - QAQC, Site Inspections and Client Meeting
• Assist in yearly ISO audits
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements (in accordance to BCA's Good Industry Practice)
• Monitor the performance of subcontractor workers for all trades and ensure any defects are properly rectified
• Ensure all the method statement used has obtained approval from the clients and consultants.
