Preparation of Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Project Quality Plan (PQP), material submissions, inspection form and related documents
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure works are compliant with method statements (in accordance to BCA's Good Industry Practice & approval from the clients and consultants)
To plan, coordinate and execute quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure project outputs comply with contract specifications and standards
Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance, rectifications and conducting relevant training on quality protocols as needed
Liaise and collaborate with suppliers / sub-contractors to ensure quality control
Monitor material status updates and maintain traceability records to support project scheduling and quality tracking
Identify and report non-conformance (NC), issue corrective action requests (CAR), and perform root cause analysis to recommend preventive measures
Perform checks on the structural, architectural and M&E materials/works to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for inspection
Address client's defects during Defect Liability Period
Participate in internal and external quality audits to maintain compliance and continuous improvement
Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments. Act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns directly related to CONQUAS scoring
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment and aiming for zero accident
Ensure construction sites meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements
Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
Requirements:
Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance principles
Familiarity with the LTA's M&W specifications
Candidates who possess 3-5 years of design and build experience in a QA/QC role within the building main contractor firm, with experience in managing Quality Marks assessment processess or certifications (such as Green Mark) will have an added advantage
Certifications: BCA-approved CONQUAS training or relevant quality certification such as ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management Systems
Familiar in conducting quality audits and surveillances and proficient in the concepts of construction productivity, sustainability and QAQC
