Job Summary
Manage and execute building construction projects by leading planning, coordination, and quality control to ensure timely delivery, compliance, and safety on site.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budget estimates, and resource allocation to guide construction projects effectively
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project delays and issues
- Coordinate construction activities with sub-contractors, clients, and consultants to maintain progress aligned with the schedule of works
- Oversee project planning, cost control, and maintain accurate project documentation for transparency and accountability
- Monitor construction progress to ensure timely and smooth execution of works
- Enforce quality standards and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations on site at all times
- Communicate clearly and manage interpersonal relationships to facilitate collaboration among project stakeholders
- Apply strong analytical skills to solve problems and optimize project outcomes in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Knowledge in Civil or Architecture Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction industries
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Safety-related certificate such as supervisor safety or risk management (preferred but not mandatory)
