Job Summary:
Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers and outlets, ensuring proper handling, accurate documentation, and compliance with traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily delivery of goods according to assigned routes and schedules
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring no damage during transportation
- Verify delivery orders, invoices, and ensure accurate handover to customers
- Ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive goods (if applicable, e.g., frozen/chilled items)
- Conduct basic vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, cleanliness) before and after trips
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle
- Follow all traffic rules and company safety policies
- Report any delivery issues, discrepancies, or incidents promptly
- Assist in warehouse operations when required (e.g., picking, packing, stock movement)
