Our client is a Japan-based IT consulting firm specializing in system infrastructure and database security. They are currently seeking a Project Management Officer to support project delivery within a banking systems environment.
【 Responsibilities 】
- Communicate with stakeholders at Bank Headquarters in Japan via email and online meetings
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to clarify and address project-related issues and requirements.
- Support the Project Manager in PMO activities, including preparation of project documentation, coordination of meetings, and facilitation of discussions.
- Support end-to-end project lifecycle management, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, user acceptance, training, documentation, and implementation, in accordance with established project management methodology.
- Support the understanding and documentation of business requirements, system architecture, and system design.
- Promote collaboration, transparency, and accountability across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
【 Requirements & Preferences 】
(Must)
- Approximately 4-5 years of the Project Management Officer an IT industry
- Experience managing 2-3 projects at the same time.
(Advantageous)
- Understanding of banking operations such as loans, deposits, accounting, and customer information systems, as well as banking-related IT systems.
- Knowledge of financial products such as Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Market (MM), derivatives (e.g. Interest Rate Swap, Cross Currency Swap), bonds, FAST/GIRO payments, or MEPS/XB payments.
- Experience working with Japanese firm, Multinational projects or Global team environments.
