Project Management Officer

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented PMO Specialist to manage day-to-day project operations, track financials, and enforce governance frameworks. In this role, you will act as the operational backbone for large-scale initiatives—ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and fully audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Tracking & Analysis: Monitor project budgets, burn rates, and spending variances. Support monthly financial closes, accruals, invoice processing, and financial forecasting.
• Governance & Controls: Coordinate steering committee reviews, maintain decision logs, track project risks/issues, and ensure strict adherence to governance standards for audit readiness.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Consolidate performance metrics into clear weekly, monthly, and executive-level status reports using Excel and dashboard tools.
• Project Administration & Resource Management: Handle resource onboarding/offboarding, timesheet approvals, meeting administration, and document control within shared repositories.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years in PMO, project coordination, or project finance. Experience in large-scale tech or public sector projects is a strong advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data modeling). Familiarity with Power BI or PPM tools is preferred.
• Core Skills: Strong financial acumen, sharp attention to detail, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
