Job Summary
Lead and manage electrical installation projects to successful completion by directing site teams, optimizing project costs, and ensuring quality and safety compliance. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions and training that drive project excellence. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local electrical codes.
Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional site project teams to deliver assigned projects on schedule and within quality standards
Supervise workers and sub-contractors to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality requirements
Manage project implementation by coordinating resources and activities to achieve smooth progress and completion
Analyze project costs and apply re-engineering strategies to enhance profit margins while preparing monthly progress claims and controlling expenditure budgets
Direct testing and commissioning activities of project teams to validate system performance and compliance
Conduct customer training sessions post-project completion to ensure effective operation and maintenance of installed systems
Provide technical guidance to customers and site teams in selecting appropriate equipment aligned with project specifications
Participate actively in technical discussions and progress meetings with clients, M&E consultants, and contractors to resolve issues and align project objectives
Support the Safety Coordinator/Officer in planning, assessing, and implementing project safety systems to maintain a safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and company goals
Required competencies and certifications
Related academic qualifications in Engineering (Electrical) or Building Services
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience at local construction sites
Proven project management skills in electrical installation projects, particularly turnkey and A&A works, with strong technical and site expertise
Effective communication skills in English and Others to engage with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project software, and good knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit
Ability to lead teams with strong leadership qualities, high initiative, and resilience under pressure
Willingness and ability to work onsite predominantly and occasionally outside regular office hours due to project schedules
