Senior / Project Engineer (Thermodynamic / Data Center)

This role requires a highly self-motivated individual that is well organized and can time-manage well. The role requires the talent to perform the following duties:

• Develop, plan, and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring timely completion, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, supply chain, and quality control, to optimize project outcomes.

• Prepare and review technical documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and engineering reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.

• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimates for proposed projects.

• Evaluate and select appropriate materials, equipment, and installation methods for projects.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians as needed.

• Monitor and report on project progress to all relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout project lifecycle.

• Manage sub-contractor to ensure compliance with all project & requirement.

• Work closely with QC to fulfil all QC standard to meet contractual requirement.

• Managing all System Acceptant Test, System Conditioning and handover.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with strong knowledge in Thermodynamic.

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management.

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Inventor.

• Experienced in ACMV in data centre environment.

• Demonstrated experience in managing projects from concept to completion, with a focus on budget, schedule, and quality control.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and external partners.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Travel Requirement

This position may require occasional travel to various ASEAN countries and outstation locations as an essential part of the job responsibilities. The frequency and duration of travel may vary depending on project needs and business requirements.
