PROJECT ENGINEER

We are currently seeking a skilled Proposal Engineer to join our team and play a key role in preparing successful project bids.

Key Responsibilities:

. Proposal Development: Oversee the end-to-end process of proposal development, from reviewing initial requests for proposals (RFPs) to submitting completed proposals.

. Scope Definition & Technical Analysis: Analyze project requirements, review RFPs, define project scope, and identify technical risks and challenges.

. Cost Estimation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction) to prepare detailed cost estimates (CAPEX and OPEX) for proposals.

. Bid Strategy: Develop and implement bid strategies, ensuring that proposals are competitive and meet the project requirements effectively.

. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including legal, finance, and project managers, as well as external partners, to gather necessary information and finalize bids.

. Documentation: Prepare high-quality, detailed proposal documents, including technical specifications, project timelines, cost breakdowns, and commercial terms.

. Continuous Improvement: Integrate lessons learned from previous bids and projects to improve future proposals.

. Client Engagement: Support client meetings, clarifications, and negotiations throughout the bid process to ensure smooth communication and project alignment.

Technical Competencies:

. Strong understanding of technical project specifications, cost estimation, and risk management.

. Experience with project scheduling and budget forecasting.

Skills:

. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
