JOB SCOPE:
- Assist the Production Manager in the day-to-day operations of the production lines.
- Plans and coordinates the work flow on the production lines to achieve production target according to agreed schedules and quality standards.
- Draws up duty roster for operatives, allocating work and arranging replacements for absentees.
- Troubleshoots production problems which may rise and assisting the Production Manager in planning new project work such as positioning of new production lines or machinery.
- Trains, motivates and guides subordinates, maintains discipline among the operatives and provides input to their performance appraisals.
- Report directly to the Assistant Production Manager / Production Manager.
- Champions cost saving ideas through implementation.
- Establish work standards / work flow to comply to stipulated and safety requirements.
- Any other tasks as and when assigned by the management.
REQUIREMENTS:
.Minimum 3 years experience in the relevant position
.Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant course
.Possess good communication skills and good time management
.5s experience will be an advantage
.Able to start work in short notice
Additional info:
WORKING HOURS: (5 days/6 days shift pattern) - change every 4 months
1st Shift : 6.50am to 3.05pm
2nd Shift : 2.50pm to 11.05pm ($8 shift allowance)
3rd Shift : 10.50pm to 7.05am ($12 shift allowance)
