Production Manager

Company Overview:

We are a leading meat importer and distributor serving a wide network of hotels, airlines, and supermarkets in Singapore. Our operations also include a manufacturing line for value-added meat products. As we expand, we are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

. Production planning: Plan daily/weekly production according to orders and delivery schedules.

. Manage production staff: Supervise production workers, leaders and supervisors arrange manpower and training.

. Meat processing: Oversee cutting, trimming, deboning, marinating, cooking, sausage/ham production, packing, etc.

. Food safety & hygiene: Ensure HACCP, GMP, SFA requirements and company SOPs are followed.

. Quality control: Check raw materials, production processes and finished products investigate defects and customer complaints.

. Yield & wastage: Monitor meat yield, wastage, spoilage, production costs and machine downtime.

. Inventory: Coordinate with purchaser and warehouse teams to ensure sufficient raw materials and packaging.

. Equipment: Ensure machinery is properly operated, cleaned, maintained and available for production.

. SOPs & documentation: Develop/update SOPs, production records and work instructions.

. Continuous improvement: Improvised ways to improve productivity, reduce costs and minimize wastage.

. Workplace safety: Ensure workers follow WSH requirements and use appropriate PPE.
