Job Responsibilities

1. Carpentry Production Management
Manage and oversee daily carpentry production activities to ensure works are carried out efficiently and according to project requirements.

2. Production Planning and Scheduling
Plan and monitor production schedules based on project timelines, site requirements, priorities, and delivery dates.

3. Project Coordination
Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Designers, Site Coordinators, and other internal teams to understand project requirements and align production with site schedules.

4. Drawing and Production Coordination
Review drawings, specifications, and production requirements to ensure carpentry works are fabricated according to approved designs and project requirements.

5. Manpower Planning
Plan and allocate carpentry workers according to production workload, project priorities, and delivery schedules.

6. Production Progress Monitoring
Monitor the progress of ongoing production works and take necessary action to prevent or minimise delays.

7. Quality Control
Ensure completed carpentry works meet required workmanship, dimensions, specifications, and quality standards before delivery to site.

8. Material Coordination
Coordinate material requirements and availability with the relevant teams to ensure sufficient materials are available for scheduled production.

9. Factory and Site Coordination
Coordinate production, delivery, and installation requirements with project and site teams to ensure smooth workflow from factory to site.

10. Problem Solving
Identify production issues, drawing discrepancies, material shortages, or scheduling conflicts and coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve them promptly.

11. Delivery Coordination
Plan and coordinate completed carpentry works for delivery according to project schedules and site readiness.

12. Production Reporting
Maintain production schedules and progress records, and provide regular updates to management and Project Managers on production status, delays, and upcoming requirements.

Job Requirements

. Diploma, Degree, or relevant technical qualification in Construction, Production Management, Engineering, Interior Fit-Out, or equivalent.

. Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in carpentry production, construction, interior fit-out, renovation, or related works.

. Good knowledge of carpentry fabrication, production processes, materials, and installation requirements.

. Able to read and understand construction, interior design, and carpentry drawings.

. Experience in production planning, manpower allocation, scheduling, and coordination.

. Able to coordinate effectively with Project Managers, Designers, site teams, suppliers, and production workers.

. Good communication and coordination skills.

. Able to converse in English and Chinese to support coordination with Chinese-speaking workers, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

. Responsible, organized, hands-on, and able to work independently under tight project schedules.
