Location: Tuas (Transport pickup available at Clementi, Jurong East, Choa Chu Kang, Boon Lay Jurong Point)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage daily production processes to meet quality and output targets, promptly addressing process deviations to minimize downtime.
- Actively participate in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, and maintenance, and take over production responsibilities during operator absences to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Perform routine inspections, calibration, and adjustments on machinery and equipment while documenting production activities, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, prepare daily and weekly performance reports, and ensure accurate recording of production metrics.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, identifying recurring issues and recommending long-term solutions.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations, ensuring safe equipment operation and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams, supporting training programs for operators to enhance their skills.
- Propose innovative ideas for continuous improvement, focusing on cost savings and productivity enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the adhesive, paint, or chemical industry is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and AutoCAD.
