Role Summary
You will serve as maternity cover from December 2025 to April 2026, with responsibilities focused on product strategy, development, and management. The role involves formulating investment solutions, product structuring and project management (coordination of fund documentation and operational set up to bring the product to market). You will be responsible for initiating and coordinating product discussions with internal and external stakeholders to deliver investment solutions to clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design investment solutions and structure fund vehicles that meet client needs, business goals and regulatory compliance
- Develop product term sheets, business cases, and supporting materials in consultation with stakeholders to secure internal approvals and sign-offs, under the firm's product governance framework
- Assist with competitor scanning and analysis to support the Manager and stakeholders in making informed decisions on product positioning (strategy, features, pricing, product differentiation and target clients) to achieve business goals
- Responsible for end-to-end project management related to product strategy, development and management to coordinate workstreams via kick-off meeting, regular project calls, generate meeting notes, track deliverables, including fund documentation, operational readiness, and pre-fund inception meetings, through to client funding
- Ensure clear communication of product information, action steps and regular update on project progress to the Head of Product and key stakeholders
- Support the product lifecycle of funds, including the launch, repositioning, restructure, maturity of closed-end products, termination of funds and etc
Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, Finance or Business related preferred
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in product development role in the finance and/or fund management industry
- Familiar with MAS Code of CIS, fund structures, tax schemes and investment regulatory frameworks for funds across jurisdictions
- Functional expert, ability to solve slightly complex problems and formulate solutions
- Strong rational thinking, good interpersonal and communication skills to manage projects successfully
- Work independently with some guidance from the manager and contribute to team results
- Good knowledge of investment landscape, market trends, and regulatory requirements to develop competitive products
