We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Finance Manager to assist our Finance team and lead our financial strategy, operations, and compliance as we scale our crypto trading business globally. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, highly regulated, and technology-driven environment.
What Will You Do at HeLa Labs
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning to optimize capital allocation.
- Accounting Operations: Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting for multi-asset trading.
- Compliance & Taxation: Ensure financial compliance, tax filings, and audits related to trading and digital assets.
- Risk & P&L Reporting: Monitor profit & loss statements, trading expenses, and financial risks.
- Process Optimization: Implement automation and data-driven financial workflows for efficiency.
- Advisory Role: Provide financial insights to trading teams and leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Lead all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and budgeting, across global entities.
- Oversee crypto asset accounting, treasury management, and liquidity strategy.
- Ensure compliance with global financial regulations (MAS, SEC, FCA, etc.), including tax, AML/KYC, and crypto reporting standards.
- Support strategic decision-making with accurate, real-time financial insights and performance metrics.
Our Ideal Candidates Would Have:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance & accounting, preferably in fintech, trading, hedge funds, or crypto markets.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CFA preferred).
- Candidates with Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from the Institute of Singapore (ISCA) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and digital assets.
- Experience with trading finance, P&L reconciliation, and fund accounting.
- Experienced in cryptocurrencies or derivatives transactions.
- Proficiency in financial software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) & Excel modeling.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
