Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements on time each month, quarter, and year, following SFRS.
  • Monitor and report on Work-in-Progress (WIP) to ensure accurate revenue and cost tracking.
  • Support IPO readiness activities such as financial due diligence, audit preparation, and compliance with listing requirements.
  • Manage financial reports and analysis to help guide business decisions.
  • Consolidate financial reports accurately and on schedule for all company entities.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including GST, corporate tax, and transfer pricing.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for statutory reporting and tax filings.
  • Track cash flow to maintain sufficient liquidity for daily operations.
  • Improve working capital management by handling receivables and payables effectively.
  • Oversee banking relationships and manage financial transactions.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls to reduce financial risks.
  • Review legal documents like NDAs, project contracts, and financial agreements to identify financial risks and obligations.
  • Apply best practices for financial governance, fraud prevention, and compliance with regulations.
  • Perform financial risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Improve financial processes and efficiency.
  • Provide financial advice to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as M&A, investment analysis, and cost-saving programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Min 5 years of experience in finance/accounting
  • In-depth understanding of Singapore's financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
  • Experience in examining legal documents such as NDAs, project contracts, and financial agreements.
  • Experience in handling IPO preparation
