Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with relevant Business Groups to determine sourcing requirements and provide timely procurement assistance.
- Evaluate the outputs of designated external consultants, such as M&E Engineers and Quantity Surveyors.
- Prepare documentation for pre-tender processes, tendering, cost management, and contract administration for development and procurement projects.
- Identify, assess, and recommend new Contractors and/or Suppliers that align with the needs of the Business Groups, following the selection and qualification procedures.
- Analyze and generate cost estimates to support decision-making.
- Monitor market trends and dynamics that may affect the availability and pricing of materials and services.
- Assist in reviewing and negotiating contract terms while maintaining all contractual agreements.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in M&E Quantity Surveying and/or building procurement and/or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Resourceful, self-sufficient, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- Must be fluent in Mandarin and English.
