Job Description
The Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC) aims to enhance efficiency and improve customer experience in financial services.
You will join the Fixed Assets (FA) team, responsible for ensuring that the fixed asset register is complete and compliant with prevailing policies, laws, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of period-end FA reports (e.g., Fixed Asset Stock-take report, Development Project-in-Progress (DPIP) report, Consolidated Fixed Asset Schedule) for management and statutory reporting, as well as audit reviews. This includes reviewing asset counts, performing FA reconciliations, and investigating discrepancies (such as additions, retirements, or corrections of erroneous transactions reported by users).
2. Review development expenditure to assess correct treatment for asset capitalization before capitalizing assets.
3. Maintain high standards of FA processes by conducting trainings, providing guidance on FA matters, ensuring adherence to FA SOPs, and implementing process improvements to strengthen governance and control.
4. Participate in automation initiatives and process improvement projects (e.g., using RPA bots or data analytics dashboards) to enhance work efficiency.
Requirements
Education:
. Degree in Accounting
Experience:
. Prior experience in Audit is an advantage
. Prior experience using SAP is an advantage

. Strong numerical and analytical ability
. Independent and self-driven
. Strong accounting knowledge to assess correct treatment of development expenditures for asset capitalization
. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage a wide spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
