What The Role Is
Air Traffic Control Support Officers (ATCSOs) provide Flight Information Services and complement the role of Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCO) in receiving and relaying critical flight information between controllers and pilots, ensuring safe and efficient flow of air traffic in the Singapore Flight Information Region.
What You Will Be Working On
As an ATCSO, you will be the first point of contact between various Air Traffic Control Centres. You will process critical flight data and weather information, manage flight planning systems, handle Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) updates, and coordinate traffic information. Your role includes verifying vessel heights near Changi Airport and participating in Search and Rescue exercises in actual incidents/accidents. Working closely with controllers ATCOs, you will ensure smooth communication between air traffic control and aviation stakeholders. Through these duties, you play a vital role in supporting controllers by ensuring efficient communication flow between air traffic control, airspace users, and airline operators.

Workplace Location and Hours:
Singapore Air Traffic Control Centre (SATCC), 60 Biggin Hill Road, Singapore 509950 (near Changi Village).
ATCSOs work in rotating shifts across weekdays, weekends and Public Holidays to support round-the-clock air traffic operations.
Training
Successful candidates will join CAAS as Probationary Air Traffic Control Support Officers and undergo structured training programme. The programme will equip you to acquire the essential skillsets for each proficiency level before performing operational duties in the ATCSO Unit.
