Job Description
Our client, a leading international bank with a strong regional presence, is seeking an experienced Private Banking Product Manager to join their Wealth Management team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with multiple stakeholders, drive product development, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting the bank's private banking clients with tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate with Compliance, Operations, Finance and Accounting, I.T., and other relevant departments to finalize the regulatory and operational feasibility for new product launches
- Work with Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal to ensure strict adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines
- Prepare the required documentations (including evaluation, AML/CFT assessments, risk assessment, product specifications, operational procedures and forms) for the launch of new products and periodic reviews
- Engage potential partners for collaborations, partnerships, products and services
- Liaise with partner institutions and perform due diligence and AML/CFT checks on them
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, including: shortlisting, due diligence, risk rating, obtaining committee approval, and ongoing monitoring. This process covers multiple product classes such as investment funds, bonds, listed securities (stocks, ETFs, etc.) and structured notes
- Manage collaboration partners providing insurance, trust and family office services within the referral channel
- Support Relationship Managers in executing client instructions
- Provide quotes and executing client orders as instructed by Relationship Managers with relevant counterparties or intermediaries
- Update and maintain all relevant product documentation and product processes
- Support other ad-hoc duties or projects assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- CACS certification required by MAS for Private Banking Product Managers.
- Minimum 5 years experience in product management, covering areas such as investment products, lending, or wealth planning.
- Minimum 3 years of trading or dealing experience, covering product classes such as bonds, listed securities (stocks, ETFs, etc.) and structured notes.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, AML/CFT, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in system development and/or banking operations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Chinese is preferred to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
