Power Market Expert, Senior Consultant (Japan-focused)

Job Purpose

Join a leading global consulting firm at the forefront of the energy transition. We are seeking a Japanese power market specialist to support advisory work across renewables, energy markets, and investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver insights on Japan power market dynamics and price trends
• Develop power market models and electricity price forecasts
• Advise clients on: Renewable investments & due diligence, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Market entry & regulatory developments
• Work with regional teams across Singapore and Australia

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years experience in energy / power markets
• Strong understanding of the Japanese electricity market
• Experience in modelling, price forecasting, or market analysis
• Exposure to PPA, transactions, or investment analysis is a plus
• Fluent in Japanese (since covering the Japan Market) and English
