Job Description

Are you a payroll professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, improving processes, and working across multiple countries We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to support regional payroll operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives across APAC.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong payroll expertise with analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end payroll activities across multiple markets, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Analyse payroll data and reporting to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to resolve payroll-related issues and enhance service delivery.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency, controls, standardisation, and automation.
  • Support payroll projects, system enhancements, and regional implementations.
  • Ensure payroll practices remain aligned with local legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with audit requirements, compliance reviews, and risk management activities.
  • Prepare and maintain payroll documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a seamless employee experience through accurate and efficient payroll operations.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven payroll experience supporting multiple countries within the APAC region.
  • Strong understanding of payroll controls, compliance requirements, and payroll best practices.
  • Experience working with payroll systems and large data sets.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret payroll information.
  • Track record of supporting projects, process improvements, or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
