Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage the end-to-end payroll process for a portfolio of clients in Singapore. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, handling client payroll queries, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. We are looking for someone who is independent, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple deadlines, with the flexibility to support time-sensitive payroll matters and business needs when required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process for a portfolio of Singapore-based clients, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Process monthly payroll inputs including salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions, leave, benefits and other payroll adjustments.
  • Handle client and employee payroll queries, providing timely guidance and resolving payroll issues or discrepancies independently where possible.
  • Perform payroll checks, reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy prior to payroll finalisation.
  • Ensure payroll processing, statutory contributions and related submissions comply with Singapore employment and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for clients.
  • Manage multiple payroll deadlines independently, proactively identify potential issues, and provide support for time-sensitive payroll matters and business needs when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in full-cycle payroll processing for Singapore entities.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore payroll practices and statutory requirements.
  • Able to manage payroll processes independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong ownership of assigned clients.
  • Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with payroll systems and learning new technologies.
  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in any discipline
