Clinic Assistant / Patient Service Associate / Clinic Executive
BJIOS Orthopaedics is looking for an individual who is able to aid in the coordinating of care across multiple healthcare providers and settings. This role enhances the overall patient experience and the quality of care.
Core Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage reception area, answering calls & handling inquires
- Registering, schedule appointment and processing payments for patients
- Verify patients on Third-party administrators (TPA), Insurances and Medisave details and process claims
- Facilitate Hospital Admission
- Assist Nurses and Doctors in administrative and clinical support
- Perform stock-taking of medical supplies and ensure accuracy
- Financial counselling, and coordinating of patient surgeries
- Provide and educate patients and family members on health grants and medical assistance information
- Reports to Nurse Manager
Requirements
- Minimum (GCE) N Level or above
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare/ clinic setting
- Knowledge in medical billing software & TPA Insurance Claims
- Strong ability to retain, recall information quickly and follow up on tasks or instructions with accuracy
- Quick learner with strong initiative and a positive work attitude
- Able to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in computer skills
- Good Customer Service Oriented and patient focused
- Possess organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage coordinate schedules
- Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with Chinese-speaking patients.
- Able to start work in short notice
