Job Title: Part Time Offset Printer/ General Worker
Job Summary We are looking for a part time General Worker to support daily operations in our printing facility. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge or experience with offset printing (in addition to general factory duties) to assist with machine operation, material handling, and production support. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone reliable and willing to learn multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general factory and production tasks, including material handling, loading/unloading paper/substrates, packing finished goods, and warehouse assistance.
- Assist in operating and maintaining offset printing machines (e.g., sheet-fed offset presses): setup, ink changes, basic troubleshooting, and quality checks where knowledgeable.
- Support digital or other printing processes as required (e.g., envelope inserting, cutting, hot stamping, or finishing tasks).
- Conduct quality inspections on printed materials to ensure they meet specifications (color, alignment, defects).
- Perform routine machine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and workspace organization.
- Help with inventory management, stock counting, and waste minimization.
- Follow all safety protocols (WSH) and company rules observe good housekeeping practices.
- Assist in other ad-hoc duties such as delivery preparation, general cleaning, or supporting the production team during peak periods.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience in a printing or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with offset printing machines is required (e.g., setup, operation, or assistance on sheet-fed offset presses).
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor (standing, lifting, shifting materials).
- Willing to learn and cross-train on different machines (offset, digital, finishing equipment).
- Hardworking, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of print quality and safety practices.
- No formal qualifications required, but relevant experience or technical training in printing is highly advantageous.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays if needed.
