Oracle ADF / Forms Application Support Developer - (SG Citizen / PR) 1 Year Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an Oracle Application Support Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications across both modern and legacy Oracle platforms.

This role is primarily focused on Oracle ADF-based application development and support (70%), with the remaining scope supporting legacy Oracle Forms and Reports systems (30%).

You will play a key role in maintaining system stability, delivering enhancements, and supporting the organisation's ongoing modernisation initiatives while ensuring continuity of critical legacy applications.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle ADF Development & Support (Primary Focus)

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle ADF

• Enhance and support ADF-based web applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performing detailed root cause analysis

• Implement enhancements and Change Requests (CRs) aligned with business requirements

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

Oracle Forms & Reports Support (Secondary Focus)

• Provide application support for systems built on Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports

• Maintain and enhance legacy applications, ensuring stability and performance

• Perform bug fixes, enhancements, and minor development work on Forms/Reports modules

• Support integration between legacy systems and modern ADF-based applications

Application Support & Delivery

• Provide L2/L3 production support, including incident management and issue resolution

• Analyse, design, and implement Change Requests (CRs), including enhancements and defect fixes

• Conduct impact analysis on database objects, PL/SQL packages, triggers, and dependencies

• Prepare and deploy application changes across development, SIT, UAT, and production environments

• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure system reliability

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), resolving issues and ensuring business requirements are met

• Validate system behaviour post-deployment to ensure stability and prevent regressions

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with Business Analysts, QA testers, DBAs, and Operations teams in an Agile or hybrid environment

• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation, including system configurations, test results, and deployment procedures

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework) for enterprise application development

• Experience supporting and enhancing Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports applications

• Solid expertise in PL/SQL programming, including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers

• Experience delivering application support, including incident management, CRs, and production support

• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile practices, and structured testing methodologies

• Experience working with Oracle middleware technologies (e.g. WebLogic)

Highly Desirable

• Experience modernising legacy Oracle applications or integrating Forms-based systems with ADF

• Familiarity with public sector environments or regulated enterprise systems

• Experience working in secure, governed IT environments
